The Rabbit Høle application is a small music paper with a circulation of one: You. We want the app to be as simple as possible to use but here are some things you might find useful.
What you need
Rabbit Høle needs to connect to your Apple Music library otherwise it has nothing to read.
The Oracle uses Apple Intelligence to generate its thoughts: an iPhone 15 Pro or newer or a Mac with Apple silicon, with Apple Intelligence switched on. Rabbit Høle works on other iPhones but the Oracle will be silent.
Start here
When you first open Rabbit Høle it will land on Settings, with an order form at the top. There are four steps to follow: Connect, to let Rabbit Høle read your Apple Music library; Sync now, to pull the library in; Recompute, to score your taste and draw your scenes; then go to The Counter and press your first issue.
This process can take a few minutes. Please hold, the rabbit høles are waiting.
The Oracle is Unavailable
If a page says "The Oracle is Unavailable" it should tell you underneath the cause: Apple Intelligence is unavailable, it is switched off in Settings, or the model is still processing. Everything should still print but the cards will be blank. Nothing is lost, the notes will arrive when The Oracle catches up.
Open Apple Music once and accept its terms
If you see this message when you Sync, it means the subscription is present but you need to open the Apple Music app. Open it, agree to Apple's terms and conditions and then come back to Rabbit Høle and press Sync now.
Tape it, Pass, Not my scene
These are how you tell The Oracle what you liked, what you didn't, and what you'd rather not hear again. Tape it keeps it; Pass lets it go; Not my scene tells Rabbit Høle never to bring that one up.
The Deep End
The Deep End is ephemeral. It scans the distant horizon for music scenes you may never have heard before. Tell Rabbit Høle what you liked or didn't but the Deep End digs are never recorded.
How far out
This tells the Oracle how adventurous you're feeling. 0 means hyper-refined on your own library and scenes. 10 is like sending out a probe into deep space. Find your balance.
