Small Ads: An Open Letter to Spotify

Hi,

We are Rabbit Høle and we have one mission, which is to help people find music that they will love. We’ve been working on this for a little while and our app does this with Apple Music but not yours.

So, why are we writing this letter? Well, we would like you to lower your walls a little so that places like us can integrate our services with yours. We’re not asking to be given access to the secret recipes that make you so successful, we would just like to be able to help your users find new music.

One of the things that we think makes Rabbit Høle unique is that we don’t take any of our users’ information. There’s no account information, no history, nothing. It’s all on their device and personal to them. An app with no server has nothing to scrape with and that means we can’t see your information either.

Allowing an integration between Spotify and Rabbit Høle would give a few people another way to find more music.

That’s our pitch.
