¡Vibra europea!

Wiedergabe

At Rabbit Høle we are all about expanding musical horizons and so, this week, we’re recommending some of our favourite songs from our European neighbours. A mix of old and new(ish), we are positive there’s something here for even the staunchest of euro-sceptics.

Side A25:13

01Goose"What You Need"3:58

We never thought we'd fall for a Belgian band quite as hard as we did for Goose. What You Need is a great song.
02The Cranberries"Salvation"2:23

Devastating and beautiful, Salvation is one of The Cranberries' hidden gems.
03Édith Piaf"Padam Padam"3:17

We had to go for the Grand Dame of French music and Padam Padam is a real classic.
04Søren Torpegaard Lund"Før Vi Går Hjem"2:54

We heard this during Eurovision 2026 and we fell in love. It should have won.
05Marathonmann"Auryn"2:54

Auryn brings together so much of what we love. It's played fast, it's got electronic elements and it's German. Let's GO!
06Opeth"Godhead's Lament"9:47

Look, we know that Opeth isn't going to be for everyone but this is metal done right. Settle in, this is well worth the price of admission.

Side B25:37

07Lacuna Coil"Delirium"3:16

Delirium shows off the full range of Lacuna Coil, sono fantastici.
08La Inquisición"Mundo Invisible"2:39

Punk from one side of the Iberian Peninsula. ¡Es muy bueno!
09Alice Deejay"Back in My Life"3:29

Our europop roots are showing here and we embrace it. Alice Deejay has a special place in our hearts.
10Braaheim"Chasing Cars"3:08

No one is seemingly as prolific as Braaheim and his brand of dance covers. Chasing Cars is a great place to start.
11Blastromen"Eraser"5:08

Blastromen have been featured a lot on Rabbit Høle and we are picking Eraser as the Finnish representative for this tape.
12Amor Electro"A Máquina (Acordou)"5:20

A Máquina shows the Portuguese know how to rock just as well as the Spanish.
HTThe Misfits & John Cafiero"Monster Mash"2:37

It's Halloween, of course we had to include Monster Mash
