Bringing down the curtain

The song that brought down the curtain on season one of Lanterns.

We're also loving these songs at the moment…

Kate Ryan "Ella Elle L'a" Free · 2008
We have come to realise that we have a soft spot for euro-pop covers.
Kanye West "Stronger" Graduation · 2007
Remember when Ye was Kanye and you could enjoy his music? "Stronger" takes us back to that time.
10 Years "Fix Me" Taped Feeding the Wolves · 2010
A find from last week that has stuck around.
Violent Femmes "Blister in the Sun" Violent Femmes · 1983
The Violent Femmes are getting some love this week.
Guns N' Roses "Paradise City" Appetite for Destruction · 1987
We're planning something big for this week's Mixtape.

Stacked up

What we're lining up next.

Survival Guide "Girl's Not Grey" Request Hotline, Vol. 2 · 2023
We found Survival Guide whilst we were looking for something else and now we're obsessed.
AFI "Totalimmortal" All Hallow's E.P. · 1999
We may have been searching for a cover of this by The Offspring but we'll stick with the original for now.
The Darkness "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" Permission to Land · 2003
What a classic.
BOSS Night "Sim Señor" BOSS · 2020
Because sometimes we need to think about the good times (cheaters never prosper).
David Bowie "Time Will Crawl" Never Let Me Down · 1987
Bowie forever.

These are what we're loving this week.
